Poklonnaya Hill Victory Park





Victory Park is a memorial complex dedicated to victory of Russians over Nazi Germany. It is located in the historic area of Moscow known as Poklonnaya Hill.  Victory Park features an open-air Weaponry  and  Fortifitacion Exposition. The Park boasts a complete collection of armored vehicles from light tanks of early war years to heavy models which fought in Berlin in 1945

Т-35 Russian heavy tank №744-66




This machine belonged to the 67th Tank Regiment with number 744-66. Steerins clutches  was burnt.

Renault R35




Renault R 35 was in 12 ton range, with a 13 foot ( 3,9 meter) lenght, 6 foot (1,8 m) width and 7 foot  (2,1m) height. Armor protection peaked at 43 mm thickness, which was drastic increase from the 30 mm desing from originally offerd by Renault in 1934. Beyond the 17 mm main gun  was a  7,5 mm MAC31 Reibel series machine gun for anti-infantry work and this fitted as a coaxial weapon in turret. Drive power to the vehicle was  supplied through Renault V 4 gasoline - fueled engine of 82 horsepower output. This provided the vehicle with  a maximum speed  of 12,5 miles per hour (20,1 km per hour) with a operational range out to 80 miles (128,7 km).
